It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Peter Pan!

*He's inherited my vanity!

*My mom made his costume. She made me and my sister similar Peter Pan costumes when we were really little and the belt was saved from my sister's costume.

*Trick-or-Treating at Mommy & Me

*Don't they both looked thrilled? That's chichimommy's little girl.

And thank you for nice comments about my Nana. I really appreciate it. I'm having a hard time accepting it, and I have a feeling I never really will.

Last night my Nana (great-grandmother), passed away. I was there with my mom, sister, aunt, and uncle when they took her breathing tube out and watched her take her last breath. It was weird and surreal and still hasn't quite hit yet. That my Nana, the matriarch of the family, is no longer with us. She is the reason I hope there is a heaven, because if anyone deserves to be there, it's her. She did whatever she could for anyone who needed help. She came from a generation that no longer exists, a generation of hard workers and people that gave their all. She raised her two kids, two of her grand kids, and took in many others. She was stubborn as hell, and that's why she accomplished so much in her life. In her last few years, she had Alzheimer's and dementia, and was too scared of falling to walk anymore, so she became wheelchair bound. She made a steady decline mentally, but her body was still healthy. I think we all felt bad about her quality of life; living in a retirement home with people she didn't know, she hated not having her own place. And her memory just declined so much from there. I think depression had a lot to do with that. My family has been mourning her loss, even as she was still alive because of the radical change that happened when her condition really started to take her and leave a living "shell" of a person. So even though I think she is happier now, and really think she is up in heaven, I still miss her and wanted her to stay for my own selfish reasons. But I know that's wrong and that she couldn't be around forever, though she tried! She was 92!

I love you Nana and always will.

Tonight one of my favorite ladies is playing with her new band at a somewhat local club. And my best friends boyfriend is on the same bill! So even though I'm sick and sniffling, I think I'm going anyway! I haven't seen The Distillers play since 2004/2005 and I'm stoked to see what the new band will be like!

We went out to the desert in Barstow this weekend for the "Poker Run". Basically just dirt biking and camping with some friends. Taking care of a stubborn 2-year-old was hell, but as long as he could cover himself in dirt all weekend without anyone trying to get him to eat, drink or stay within any boundaries- he was fine. I was so mentally and physically exhausted after the first day, that I didn't take any pictures this weekend. Well, other than this little photo shoot of him looking like a dirty little ragamuffin in the McDonald's parking lot.

Make Me An Offer I Can't Refuse...

I mentioned awhile ago that I was going to be getting rid of some dresses. I figured I'd give you guys first dibs. If you are interested in any of them, hit me up. All of them are a size small (with a few exceptions being a medium), and due to my fat ass gaining weight at an alarming weight, I'll bare myself the tears of squeezing into them and looking all disgusting and junk. But I guarantee quality and that these dresses have only been worn once, if ever. And many still have tags on them. Yes, I am a dress ho. I admit it.

Enjoy!

Oh and all measure 34" bust/ 36" bust with lots of stretch!

Cuz I'm The Shiz

Lookie what we have here...

A dress named after moi. Yes, I'm just that cool...and that flattered!

Feast your eyes on...The Ruca Dress! In Ruby Red of course...

Even though the designer doesn't know I exist, I still think it's pretty cool. I should thank her!

Check Out My New Ink!

Just kidding!

I've been a total lazy slug lately. I could blame that on pregnancy, possibly. But I think it's just because I'm lazy and don't want to do anything. Last night my son was playing with Curious George stickers and decided that my other foot needed some color. And since I could sit on my ass and do close to nothing, it seemed like a good idea!

And my foot looks gigantic! Yuck!

Forget Angry Baby, It's All About French Baby

Angry baby reminded me a little of "French Baby" and "French Husband". Except French Baby drooled(not spewed) love and cuddles, while French Husband just looked ridiculous.

Completely Non-Baby Related

Tonight as I pulled into my driveway, I noticed an ex-boyfriend's car parked in front of my house. Like eight years ago, ex-boyfriend. I'm sure he has no idea I live where I live, just a coincidence. An embarrassing coincidence...that he is now banging my 21 year old next door neighbor. Small world, right?

A Secret No More...

*Just to be hokey I tied a little piece of yarn around it and left the test in Rick's underwear drawer. Haha.

I contemplated keeping this quiet, but realized that I just don't want to. Last time, I didn't tell anyone, well-other than Rick, for almost four months. Some people even five! Well this time I'm just putting it out there. No secrets. I'm knocked up. My doctor doesn't make appointments until 8 weeks, which is new to me. So I have no due date or whatever. Only my own estimation of a due date, the first week of June (I could be off a little), and am 3-4 weeks. I think.

Pregnancy resolution? I will not gain 70 pounds again!!! Yes, 70! I was a huge self-conscience whale.

***And if any of you are remembering the fact that I got tattooed last Thursday, I took a pregnancy test on Friday which turned up negative. Then on Tuesday night I took another one, which turned up positive. So I'm in the clear right? :D
