Bad Blogger Bad

I've been a bad blogger, I know. I haven't knit in forever; and even pre-baby, I was never good at completing anything. Some may wonder: Why have a knit blog, when there is no knitting involved? Well, I used to knit, so there. I still read knitting blogs while my knitting needles and half-done (I'm an optimist...not) projects collect thick dust in the edge of my tiny, overstuffed closet. It's easier to glance around online than reason with an 11-month old that mommy's knitting isn't really all that fun to play with. So unless I stay up into the wee hours of the night, which I'm not willingto do, my knitting just doesn't get done.

So what have I been doing? Sometimes I wonder myself.

I got a new haircut:

I bought a few more books on Amazon...

I'm actually really happy with them :)

I've been planning my little boy's birthday party; and trying to make a cool, unique card, even though I'm suck at photo shop stuff. So that's where the sister-in-law got involved. Thanks SHELL :)

What you can't tell is that the image was printed out onto magnets, about 5"x7" or so. We struggled to get a shot of him actually smiling and looking at the camera, but I'm happy with the final product.Seamus does not even know who Thomas is, but likes train rides. At one, there aren't many hobbies. He likes to nurse, eat finger foods, climb on everything, laugh, point, kind of talk, eat books, eat paper and shred stuff. He doesn't mind cookie monster either. But we went with a Thomas theme because the 1 on his car (cab?) and the baby loves going on the trains at Griffith Park, something I used to love as a kid.

I have also been running around with Rick, getting this car done. It still has a long way to go...

The guy in the car, not my Rick.
