I tend to be one of those people that gains a lot of weight when pregnant. I gained 70 pounds with Seamus, and another 70 with Cash. I lost all but 10 pounds last time, but it took over a year! I can't gripe too much, I didn't exercise a lot. I didn't diet. I just breastfed and it just ever so slowly tapered off. It felt like forever!
This time around I don't have the patience, I want the weight off ASAP. I'm 25 and want to feel like it. I don't think anyone feels their best when they're carrying around extra pounds, but for me it is so shameful. It totally brings me down. So I made the decision that I'd give myself two months to let whatever weight would come off, come off- and then I'd try Weight Watchers. I read
this blog. She's amazing and I love all of her blogs. And her style! So she's inspired me to shed the pounds faster. I'm hoping by Christmas- hell, maybe even Halloween!-that I'll be back to what I was. If not completely, a noticeable difference. I hate even seeigng myself in [pictures right now, so I'm usually the one behind the lens taking them. Rick looks like a single parent when all the pictures get developed, I'm not in a single one! Hopefully by exposing my new "diet" plans to the world via blog, I will kick my ass into sticking with it. This is only my second day, and I like it! I find the point system interesting and like organizing it all. Even my crackberry let me manage my points from it, which is awesome for when I'm away from home and probably wouldn't remember otherwise. So far, I'm eating a lot the same. I even still get to have my chai tea latte's. Just with skim milk. And it knows I'm breastfeeding, so I think it gives me extra points. And I noticed that I can have pizza still. Which seems weird. I'll update you all on how I keep up with it. I have to. I'm signed up for at least the next three months!
